Clans multiplied, but their political naivety made them easy prey for shadowy cabals, whose manipulation fueled endless strife. Chaos deepened; ancient horrors awakened, and monstrous new threats devastated the land. Yet with hardship came wisdom. The clans learned to reject manipulation, forging their own destiny. Guided by Heroes and Noblesse, they adopted higher ideals and earned the trust of ordinary folk. Once mercenaries of lords, clans transformed into protectors against darkness. Even mighty dragons like Antharas and Valakas recoiled before their growing power. Birthright no longer determined authority; merit and strength did. History shifted — though its final verdict was far from written.
Chapter 3: The Giran Reunification
Behind the scenes, subtler forces worked. The elders of the Five Races — Humans, Elves, Dark Elves, Orcs, and Dwarves — gathered in secret, united by the urging of a mysterious woman in blue. She revealed the existence of a sixth race, as well as primitive creatures who had survived the ancient War of the Gods on a distant island. This secret pact, known as the Giran Reunification, seeded a new spirit of cooperation. The elders aided the clans with mass-forged weapons and vital intelligence, strengthening them for struggles to come. The clans became the foundation of a new Golden Age, one blending the wisdom of Elves, the strength of Orcs, the craft of Dwarves, the knowledge of Dark Elves, and the adaptability of Humans. Whether that Golden Age has truly dawned… remains a question for another time.
